Christopher William Gerard " Chris " Hughton ( born December 11, 1958 in Stratford, London) is an Irish football manager and former player. The defender won with the Tottenham Hotspur UEFA Cup 1983/84 and the FA Cup twice, and took part with the Irish National Team at the European Football Championship in 1988 and the Football World Cup 1990. In the 2009/10 season, he served as coach Newcastle United back into the Premier League, in early December 2010, he was dismissed lying surprising at the 11th place in the table. Since June 22, 2011, he was manager of Birmingham City. From June 7th 2012, he took over the Premiere League club Norwich City.
