Chris Messina
Chris Messina ( born August 11, 1974 in New York ) is an American film and television actor.
Life and career
Messina began his career as a Broadway actor. He has played in episodes of the television series Law & Order, Third Watch and medium. He had a recurring role in the fifth and final season of the HBO series Six Feet Under, he played Claire ( Lauren Ambrose ) love interest Ted Fairwell.
His film credits include Rounders, state of emergency, em @ il for you and nothing is private. Chris played in Ira Ira and Abby, a film in which led Robert Cary Directed and written by the co- actress Jennifer Westfeldt. The film was released in August, 2007 by Magnolia Pictures and won the award this year as best comedy at the HBO Comedy Festival.
2008 Messina played in the Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona with Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall. His next film was Julie & Julia, where he played alongside stars such as Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Amy Adams.
