Chris Shiflett
Chris Shiflett ( born May 6, 1971 in Santa Barbara, California as Christopher Aubrey Shiflett ) known as Jake Jackson, is an American rock musician.
Shiflett was guitarist for the American punk rock band No Use For A Name. He got in with the combo after they released the album " Leche Con Carne ".
He also plays guitar in the Foo Fighters and the band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes ( punk rock cover band). A few years ago, he and two former members of the group Face to Face ( including his brother Scott on bass ) a band called Jackson United. Both are now again got out ( be on the band's website, however, listed as " Lifetime Members" ) and were replaced by three new musicians (including a second guitarist, Doug Sangalang by Screw 32).
2005 was the first time Shiflett (outside of music videos) worked as an actor: In the comedy Cake Boy, a film by the Vandals bassist Joe Escalante, he plays in a small supporting role a bartender.
In 2010 Shiflett released his album Chris Shiflett & The Dead Peasants, on which he dedicated to the folk and country music.
In October 2012 Fender released the Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe, his personal signature guitar.
