Chris Walas

Chris Walas ( born 1955 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American special effects artist and makeup artist.

For his work on the makeup for the film The Fly Chris Walas in 1987 received the Academy Award. In the same year and for the same film, he was honored with the Saturn Award. He had previously won this award in 1985 for Best Special Effects in Gremlins.
