Chrismon (magazine)

Chrismon is a monthly magazine of the Evangelical Church.

History

The magazine first came out in October 2000 ( to December 2000 under the name chrism ) and walked out of the Deutsche Allgemeine Sunday newspaper (1997-2000) produced. Prior to Sunday's Journal (1948-1967; 1995-1997). The EKD subsidized chrismon with four million euros. Editor in Chief 's Ursula Ott. The scope of the journal is, according to results of the AWA ( Allensbacher market and advertising medium analysis) over a million readers.

Profile

The sender- funded project with reports, guidebooks, photos, inter alia, by Geo reporters is the weekly newspaper Die Zeit and in the daily newspapers Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, means German newspaper People's Daily and Schwerin.

The magazine is also available as an expanded edition Subscription: Chrismon plus contains a total of 80, and thus 24 pages more. On them especially church -related topics can be found and only a small proportion of advertising.

The Media Association of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland, headquartered in Dusseldorf publishes the monthly magazine Chrismon plus Rhineland. Here are some pages from Chrismon plus are replaced by those with themes from the Rhine country church.

Editors are the Synod Präses Irmgard Schwaetzer, the president of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia, Annette Kurschus, as well as the Bavarian Bishop Heinrich Bedford - Strohm, the EKD Council Nikolaus Schneider and the Reformation Ambassador Margot Käßmann.

The publisher is part of the joint work of the Protestant Association for Media in Frankfurt.
