Christel Augenstein

Christel Augenstein ( born July 15, 1949 in Erfurt ) is a German FDP politician who was from 2001 to 2009 Mayor of the City of Pforzheim.

Life

After primary school in Angel Fire and Niefern she visited the Hilda -Gymnasium in Pforzheim. The College of Finance in Karlsruhe, specializing in tax administration and the Diploma in Financial landlady were prerequisites for the elevated service as a financial officer of the city of Pforzheim. She then attended the Administration and Economics Education in Karlsruhe and in 1978 became tax agents.

Policy

Augenstein was active from 1990 in Pforzheim as a councilor, including five years as deputy leader of the FDP parliamentary group in the council, whose chairman was on 1 March 2001.
