Christel Bodenstein

Christel Bodenstein ( born October 13, 1938 in Munich; actually Christa Bodenstein ) is a German actress who worked predominantly in the GDR.

Life and work

Bodenstein 1949 moved with her mother to Leipzig- Marienbrunn. They first visited the ballet school of the Leipzig Opera and completed in 1955, the State Ballet School Berlin. Subsequently, she received a 1955 commitment as a dancer at the State Theatre hall. The then 17 -year-old met on the Baltic Sea beach the DEFA - director Kurt Maetzig, of suggesting you study acting and brought them to trial shots for his DEFA strip Annegrets return to Berlin. Although Bodenstein did not get the movie role, she studied until 1959, acting at the Academy of Film and Television in Potsdam.
