Christian Abt

Christian Abt ( born May 8, 1967 in Kempten ( Allgäu) ) is a German race car driver and entrepreneur.

Christian Abt was known mainly as a co-owner of the tuning company and racing teams Abt Sportsline, which is headed by his brother Hans -Jürgen.

Career

With Abt Sportsline Christian Abt 1999 in an Audi A4, the last champion of the Super Tourenwagen Cup in a questionable last race of the series: Before the race on the Nürburgring yet had abbot and the Opel driver Uwe Alzen chance at the title. Personal

Christian Abt is not the only racer in his family. His father, Johann Abt was back in 1952 as a racing driver with a DKW motorcycle at the start. His brother Hans -Jürgen Abt launched, inter alia, in the Ford Fiesta Mixed Cup and the ADAC GT Cup. His wife Margit abbot was active in the Ford Fiesta Mixed Cup and in the Seat Leon Supercopa. Their son Daniel Abt drives in the Formula 3 Euro Series 2011. In addition, Christian Abt was until 2005 romantically involved with racing driver Christina Surer.
