Christian Albert, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach

Christian Albrecht of Brandenburg -Ansbach ( born September 18, 1675 Ansbach, † October 16, 1692 ibid ) was Margrave of Ansbach Frankish principality from 1686 to 1692.

Life

Christian Albrecht was the second son of the Margrave Johann Friedrich von Brandenburg- Ansbach and came from his marriage to his first wife Johanna Elisabeth of Baden -Durlach. Because his older brother Leopold Friedrich had died at the age of two years, Christian Albrecht fell in 1676 to the role of the Prince in the Principality of Ansbach. At the time of the early death of his father in 1686 he was still a minor and therefore took up his heritage under a guardianship government. He died before reaching his majority, and therefore has never ruled in his principality itself. As he had no descendants, may also underage brother Georg Friedrich the Younger succeeded him as Margrave.
