Christian Bruder

Christian brother (born 30 April 1982) is a former German nordic combined and ski jumping.

Brother began on 26 August 2000 at the National Team at the Summer Grand Prix in nordic combined. By 2004, he took up several times in the B World Cup, but never reached top positions. On March 7, 2004, he completed his last competition as a Nordic skier before he moved completely to the ski jumpers. His best result was a 16th place as a combiner on 7 January 2003 at the B World Cup in Štrbské Pleso.

On July 24, 2004, he jumped first in the Continental for the German ski team. Back in December of the same year, he reached for the first time jumping in Harrachov Top 10 rankings. After brother in Lauscha first jumped with 2nd place on the podium on 30 January 2005 he was nominated for the A- Cup. On 5 February 2005, he reached the World Cup competition in Sapporo surprising 14th place on the large hill. However, he could not repeat this performance and jumped next to the Continental Cup only three times in World Cup competition. His last international jumping brother denied on February 25, 2007 in Oberhof in the Continental Cup.

On 3 October 2007 he officially declared his retirement from skiing. Brother currently training the women's team of the Federal Police and leads the team at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec.

From the season 2011/2012 he is responsible for the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup women's team as an assistant coach under head coach Andreas Bauer.
