Christian de Chalonge

Christian de Chalonge ( born January 21, 1937 in Douai, Nord ) is a French film director and screenwriter. His film The money the other was in 1979 nominated for five César awards and won in the categories of Best Film and Best Director.

Life

After his education at the Institute des hautes études cinématographiques ( IDHEC ) de Chalonge initially worked as an assistant to directors such as Henri -Georges Clouzot, Alain Jessua, Georges Franju and Tony Richardson.
