Christian Democrats/EPP/glp Group

The fraction CVP / EPP / glp the Federal Assembly (CEG ) / Groupe PDC / PEV / PVL l' Assemblée fédérale (CEG ) / Gruppo PPD / PEV / glp l' Assemblea federale (CEG ) was the Christian Democrat parliamentarian faction of the Swiss Federal Assembly.

Fraction

The CVP / EPP / glp Group represented 18.4 percent share of the vote ( elections 2007). It included 36 National Councils (NR ) and 16 Councillors (SR ) of the at: 31 National Councils and 14 Councillors of the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland (CVP ), 2 National Councils of the Evangelical People's Party of Switzerland (EVP) and 3 national councils and two Councillors of the Green Liberal Party of Switzerland ( glp ).

The joint Federal Palace Group of the CVP, EVP and glp was founded in 2007, formerly it was called, the previously wore only the group of the CVP- parliamentarians: Christian Democratic fraction ( C). She was independent of other party organs in their decisions, but it was based on the objectives and programs of the CVP, EVP and glp. The nomination of candidates for the CVP- Federal elections belonged to the exclusive jurisdiction of the CVP / EPP / glp- Federal Palace Group.

After the 2011 elections the Liberal Green Party formed its own Green Liberal Group, while the newly elected representatives of the new CSP fraction CVP / EVP joined.

Fraction line

Group President, Urs Schwaller (FR / SR ), Vice-Presidents are Brigitte Häberli (TG / NR ), Bruno Frick (SZ / SR ), President of the CVP group of States, as well as Thérèse Meyer ( FR / NR).

The Group Management Board comprised the four Bureau members, ex officio, the CVP Federal Councillor, President of CVP Switzerland and another 5 MPs.

The Group Secretariat was led by Alexandra Perina - Werz.
