Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow

Christian Ditlev Reventlow, Count ( born March 11, 1748 in Copenhagen, † October 11, 1827 in Pederstrup on Lolland ) was a Danish statesman and social reformer of the Danish-German noble family von Reventlow.

Life

Count Christian Ditlev was born as the son of his father's eponymous Count Christian Ditlev (1710-1775) and Johanna Friederike von Bothmer (1718-1754) in Copenhagen. He attended school the Knights Academy Soro and studied at the University of Leipzig.
