Christian Duma

Christian Duma ( born February 5, 1982 in Cluj- Napoca ) is a former German athlete who specialized in the 400 - meter hurdles.

He was repeatedly youth and junior champion. In the adult area Duma in 2003, could win the German championship in 2004 and 2005. He was also in 2003 both in the hall and outdoor German champion with the 4 x 400 - meter relay.

Internationally Duma made ​​already in the junior age attention to itself. At the Junior World Championships in 2000 in Santiago de Chile, he was fourth on 400 meter hurdles and won with the German relay silver medal. The following year he was in Grosseto European Junior Champion and at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2003, he won over the hurdles and with the German relay each silver.

Duma took part in the European Championships in 2002, where he was eliminated in the flow. In 2005, he finished with the German 4 x 400 -meter relay at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in fourth place. At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 he reached the semi-finals. In the European Cup in Florence, he was in the same year with a personal best of 49.17 seconds in fourth. In 2009 he ended his sports career.

He started for the TSV Friedberg- Fauerbach and the LG Eintracht Frankfurt.
