Christian Eggert

Christian Eggert ( born January 16, 1986 in Herne ) is a German football player.

Career

The defensive midfielder started at SC Pantringshof playing football. Later he moved to the youth department of FC Schalke 04, then in the Rot -Weiss Essen. For the season 2005/06 Eggert joined the second team of Borussia Dortmund.

In the 2007 /08 season Eggert was on 15 December 2007 against VfL Wolfsburg his Bundesliga debut. He came on in the 83rd minute for Giovanni Federico. Although he still belonged to the wider circle of the first team, it was his only Bundesliga use. In the Regional team he came, however, regularly used, and was mustered in the first two years, 50 times, where he also met twice to score.

For the new season 2008/ 09 Eggert switches to the second division FSV Frankfurt. His initial two-year operating contract was terminated after one season again and Eggert returned to the second team of Borussia Dortmund. For the 2011/12 season he transferred to 1 FC Saarbrücken in the third league.
