Christian Entfelder

Christian Entfelder ( * before 1526 † after 1544) was a German Baptist.

Life

Entfelder was a student of Hans Denck. As such, he preached before 1526 in a Baptist church in Eibenschiitz Moravia.

As Moravia 1529 austrian, Entfelder went to Strasbourg. There he published the following year his work " From warer Gotseligkait ". In this publication, he spread his tendency to spiritualism theology.

In 1544 Entfelder can still be detected at the Prussian court in Königsberg; then lose track of him.

Joseph Entfelder was friends with, among others Balthasar Hubmaier and Hans Biinderlin.
