Christian Fittipaldi

Christian Fittipaldi ( born January 18, 1971 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian racing driver.

He is the son of Formula 1 racing driver and team owner Wilson Fittipaldi, and the nephew of two -time Formula 1 World Champion and winner of the Indianapolis 500, Emerson Fittipaldi.

Christian Fittipaldi was reported in 43 Formula 1 races from 1992 to 1994 and failed to qualify for 40 starts. He started for the Formula 1 teams Minardi and Arrows and reached here a total of 12 championship points. His best results were a fourth-place finish at the Grand Prix of South Africa in 1993 for Minardi and two fourth places for Arrows in the 1994 season: the Grand Prix of the Pacific and the Grand Prix of Germany.

In 1995, Fittipaldi in the IndyCar World Series, where at Road America he celebrated his first Champ Car victory in 1999. From 2001 to 2003 he took part in races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup and NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Since 2005, Fittipaldi drives in the Brazilian Stock Car Brasil series.
