Christian Gaudin ( born January 26, 1967 in Chenôve, France ) is a French handball coach and former goalkeeper.

The 1.97 m wide goalkeeper won with USAM Nîmes 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1993, the French Championships and the 1994 French Cup. After working for U.S. Créteil HB and Istres OPH he joined in 1997 in the German handball Bundesliga VfL Hameln. In 1999, he guarded the gate of SC Magdeburg, with whom he won the 2001 and 2002 EHF Cup in 2001, the German championship in 2001, the EHF Champions League 2002 and the European Championship club. In 2003 he returned to the second French League to Saint- Raphaël Var Handball despite current contract for personal reasons, to France. He is currently a coach there. In the Wild Card Tournament for Champions League 2012/2013 they lost to the eventual winner HSV Hamburg at 30:31 after extra time.

Gaudin played from 1990 to 2002 in the French national team, with whom he at five European Championships (1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002 ), two Olympic Games (1996, 2000) and five World Championships ( 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001 ) participated. The greatest success of the 247 -time national player was the World Champion title in 1995 and 2001.

Gaudins son, Thomas (* 1994) plays as a right winger at Saint- Raphaël reserve in the second division.
