Christian Gottfried Lorsch

Christian Gottfried Lorsch ( born September 11, 1773 in Nuremberg, † February 19, 1830 ibid ) was from 1818 to 1821 the first civilian First Mayor of the city of Nuremberg after the transition to the Kingdom of Bavaria.

Dr. jur. Lorsch since 1796 working as a lawyer in the city and in 1801 member of the " Council of the City " (so-called " Named "). After a civil administration and a magistrate was set up because of the " community Edict " of the Bavarian King Maximilian I, he was elected on September 26, 1818 " First Major ".
