Christian Grindheim

Christian Grindheim ( born July 17, 1983 in Haugesund ) is a Norwegian football player.

Career

Association

The 179 cm tall players began his career at FK Haugesund, where he debuted in 2000. There he quickly became the leading player and was even captain of the team.

In 2005 he moved to Vålerenga IF. There, too, he was a regular player and captain. In 2007 he moved abroad and signed with the Dutch first division club SC Heerenveen. For his new team he was only on 16 February 2008 on the application. On the 25th match day, in a 2-2 against Heracles Almelo, he was mustered into the starting XI. By the end of the season he was more eight times in the league and used twice in the play -off round. His breakthrough came in the following season, when he was used 30 times in the league. Here he met four times. He was also a regular player for the next two seasons. Since the 2011/12 season he plays in the Danish first division club FC Copenhagen.

National

His international debut was the then 22 -year-old on 17 August 2005 against Switzerland. He scored his first international goal on 11 February 2009, when he at surprising 1-0 victory over Germany met (first victory of a Norwegian team against Germany for almost 73 years ).
