Christian Henn

Christian Henn ( born March 11, 1964 in Heidelberg ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

Career

The bronze medal winner of the road race of the Olympic Games of Seoul 1988 then drove for many years for the German cycling team Team Telekom and took it several times in the Tour de France in part, at the missed in 1996 to win a stage just in a two -man lead group. In 1996, Henn was German road champion. In 1997 he won the Bavarian and Hesse tour.

Henn was active until the end of 2008 in the Team Management between the time-resolved cycling team Gerolsteiner team. After that, he was one of the athletic director at Team Milram until its dissolution in late 2010. He lives in his Heimartort Wieblingen, a district of Heidelberg.

Doping

Because doping ( testosterone) he fell in 1999 as a driver of Team Telekom. The increased testosterone levels allegedly came about through ingestion of, recommended by his father, Herb Mixes, which should fulfill a hitherto unfulfilled desire for children, which thus succeeded. Henn has been banned for six months and then ended his career as a racing driver.

As announced by Hans -Michael Holczer on May 22, 2007, Henn has confessed to doping with EPO between 1995 and 1999. Prior to Henn's former team -mate Bert Dietz had known for doping. Later confessions by Udo Bölts, Erik Zabel, Rolf Aldag and Bjarne Riis followed.
