Christian Hock

Hock as coach of Wehen (2008)

Christian Hock ( born April 11, 1970 in Aschaffenburg ) is a former German football player and current coach. He grew up in Waldaschaff in the district of Aschaffenburg.

Hock had a game in the Bundesliga for Borussia Mönchengladbach and 240 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for Viktoria Aschaffenburg and FSV Mainz 05, in which he scored 24 goals. His active career he trailed off at the South division side Kickers Offenbach, with which he ascended to the end of his career in the summer of 2005 to the 2nd Bundesliga.

From October 16th 2006 to December 17, 2008 Hock worked as coach of SV labor, with which he first rose at the end of the 2006/07 season in the club's history in the 2nd Bundesliga. At the beginning of the season 2007/ 08 he acted as an assistant coach because he did not possess the necessary head coach license. As head coach Djuradj Vasic was engaged. Despite felicitous start to the season with four points from two games Vasic was suspended on 20 August 2007. As of August 21, 2007 Hock acted as team manager and Steffen Vogler as coach of the antretenden now under the name Wehen team. Because of poor sporting results after the first round Hock was on leave from Wehen on 18 December 2008.

On 14 October 2009 Hock became the new head coach of the second division side Rot Weiss Ahlen. The Westphalia had earned at that time in eight games and only one point occupied the last place in the table. Hock, however, failed despite some signings during the season to lead the Ahlener from the basement table, Ahlen was also after the season bottom of the table. His expiring June 30, 2010 and valid for the 2nd league contract was not renewed after the descent of Ahlen in the third league.

On 12 November 2010 Hock was presented 08 Homburg as coach of third division FC. The contract with the Homburgern in mutual agreement was dissolved on April 22, 2011. On the same day Hock was introduced as the new coach of the regional league team KSV Hessen Kassel. He signed a contract until the end of season with option to extend for one year for promotion to the 3.Liga. Although the rise was not possible, one could agree on a contract extension until 2012 with no exit clause. After three defeats sequence and table space in 13 after 13 Round Hock from KSV Hessen Kassel was suspended prematurely on October 18, 2011.

On 1 October 2012, Hock coach at playing in the Association League West TSV Schott Mainz and signed with the Rheinhessen a contract until the end of the season. At the end of the season, the rise was just missed and Hock wanted to continue, but the SV labor, his main employer, for which he directed the NWLZ since January 1, 2013, wanted him back. Since July 1, 2013, he coached the U-19 team of the SV labor.
