Lamhauge Christian Holst ( born December 25, 1981 in Svendborg, Denmark ) is a Faroese football player at the position of a midfielder or striker. Since 2008 he plays for Silkeborg IF.

Clubs

Holst played in the Youth in Thurø and later at Svendborg fB. In 2003 he moved to Lyngby BK in the Danish league third. 2004/ 05, the rise has been achieved and Holst then played with Lyngby in the second division.

In the first second division season of offensive players with Lyngby was again champion and was promoted to the Danish Superliga celebrate, in which he together with his compatriot Tem Hansen, who was also born in Denmark, played. His debut in the Super League he gave on 22 July 2007 against Randers FC from the start, in the 0-3 defeat he was substituted in the 85th minute against Rasmus Marvits. In his second game against Odense BK in a 1-1 draw with the 1-0 he scored his first goal in the top division. At the end of the season Lyngby rose as the last, eleven points behind the last non relegation zone, from. Holst was able to achieve nine goals in his first Erstligasaison. Then he moved to Silkeborg IF, again a class lower.

In his first season, the rise was fixed with the second place in the second division, where Holst was instrumental with four goals part in it. Since the 2009/10 season, hence the Faroese plays in the highest Danish league. In the first year he contributed eleven goals for relegation. The next season graduated from Silkeborg in fifth place. Holst was again among the key players in the league, scoring six goals. This number, he was able to increase to ten in the season 2011/ 12, but it was only enough for eighth place. A year later, finally followed the descent to have finished last.

National

The offensive player has played 41 times for the Faroese national team, scoring three goals. He made his debut together with Tór - Ingar Akselsen on 6 September 2003 at the Euro 2004 qualifying match against Scotland. The game ended 1:3 in Glasgow, Holst came on in the 84th minute for Jákup á Borg. His first two international goals he could achieve in a friendly against Estonia in Tallinn on June 4, 2008. The match ended 3:4.

Christian Holst lives from birth in Denmark and is entitled due to his Faroese mother to play for the Faroese national team.
