Christian Lell ( born August 29, 1984 in Munich) is a German footballer of Austrian descent.

Career

Clubs

Beginning

From local club FC Alemannia München Lell came in 1998 in the youth squad of FC Bayern Munich in the three years he went through more youth teams. 2001/ 02 was the right-back for the amateur team and completed his first season at senior level ten games in the Regionalliga Süd. His debut ended on 18 November 2001 ( 18th Round ) with the 0:2 home defeat against Eintracht Trier.

Christian Lell came in 1984 as the son of an Austrian mother and a German father in Munich for the world. He has both nationalities.

In the night from 24 to 25 February 2007, he was taken into custody because of a palpable dispute with his girlfriend by the Munich police. He was released after being interrogated in the presence of his lawyer. On the evening of November 16, 2007 Lell was taken away and interrogated because he allegedly beat up his ex-girlfriend again at the team hotel by the police. Christian Lells sister has the metabolic disorder cystic fibrosis. That was the occasion in 2009 to found the Christian Lell Foundation to combat this disease and provide seed capital 100,000 Euros for the footballers.
