Christian Nicolay

Christian Nicolay ( born March 4, 1976 in Bassenheim ) is a German javelin thrower. It starts in 1998 for the TV Wattenscheid 01 His coach is Peter Lieser.

In 2006 he was at the German Championships in Ulm German champion in the javelin.

His best performance he put on in 2003. He threw 84.54 meters wide. In this year he was at the World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis sixth with 81.77 m.

Nicolay is 1,88 m tall and 102 kg in weight. He finished his career in 2010 and now works at an insurance company in Koblenz, Debeka. He also works as a trainer, he trained, among others, the discus thrower Philipp Müller.
