Christian Prosenik

Christian Prosenik ( born June 7, 1968 in Vienna) is a former Austrian football player. Since end of his career he acted as a football coach.

Career

Prosenik started his career at the 1st Simmering SC, then moved to ATSV Fischamend and eventually ended up in the Bundesliga in Austria Wien. In 1995 he moved to Austria Salzburg. After a year at the Salzburg Violet, his path led back to Vienna. His next stop was Rapid Vienna. From the Green-Whites, he moved to TSV 1860 Munich, played 19 times in the Bundesliga, scoring one goal. In 2001 he returned to Austria. His last active club was the Wiener Sport Club. In 2004 he took over as manager of the Lower Austrian regional league SV Schwechat. Since summer 2005 he is young coach of the U19 BNZ at Rapid Vienna. Since 1 January 2010 Christian Prosenik again plays football itself, and indeed for the traditional Viennese SC Wacker Wien.

Christian Prosenik completed a total of 24 caps for the Austrian national football team, scoring one goal.

He is the father of Philipp Prosenik, which is, after stays at Chelsea and AC Milan in October 2012 in Rapid Wien under contract.
