Christian Reif ( born October 24, 1984 in Speyer ) is a German long jumper.

Life

Christian Reif lives in Saarbrücken. He was a member from 1991 to 2001, the TSV Iggelheim and then moved to ABC Ludwigshafen. Since 2013 he starts for the LC Rehlinger. He is trained by Ulrich Knapp. Reif is 1.96 m tall and weighs 85 kg.

In 2004, the personal record of the then 20 -year-old already 7.83 m. His first eight- meter jump he succeeded on 21 July 2007 the German Championships in Erfurt. He jumped 8.08 m, thus won the title and qualified for the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. There he completed the qualifying in fourth place, while improved his personal best to 8.19 m.
