Christian Schreier

Christian Schreier ( born February 4, 1959 in Castrop -Rauxel ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Playing career

Schreier played from 1981 to 1992 for VfL Bochum, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Fortuna Dusseldorf in the Bundesliga. His greatest sporting achievements in 1988 was the victory in the UEFA Cup, as Leverkusen defeated in both finals Espanyol Barcelona. In the Bundesliga he played a total of 331 times, scoring 106 hits. In the German national team, he came again in 1984 in a friendly against Argentina used.

With the Olympic team, he participated in the Olympic Games in 1984 and 1988, with a total of 22 games (7 goals), he 's a record player that selection. In 1988 he won the bronze medal with the team.

Coach
