Christian Schwarzer (2010)
Christian " Blacky " Black (born 23 October 1969 in Braunschweig ) is a German handball coach and former player.
Career
Black began playing handball 1979 at TSG Bergedorf, where he was the first two and a half years in goal. In 1983, he joined Wandsbek 72 at. He then played for VfL Fred Beck (1987-1991), the TV Niederwürzbach (1991-1999), and TBV Lemgo (2001-2007) in the Handball - Bundesliga with the shirt number 8 played in between the pivot player for FC Barcelona ( 1999-2001).
From the 2007/2008 season, he ran for the Rhein- Neckar Löwen on where he left in 2009 end his playing career.
On 18 September 2008 he was appointed acting as player-coach of Yuri Shevtsov successor as coach of the Rhein- Neckar Löwen.
From 1 July 2009, he worked as a youth coordinator of the German Handball Federation and the Handball Association Saar ( HVS ). In October 2011, then the DHB announced that Black now act as a national coach of the junior and thus the successor of Martin Heuberger is.
National
In a total of 318 international matches, he scored 965 goals.
His first international match played Black November 21, 1989 in Wilhelmshaven against the selection of the GDR. His international career he finished after the finals at the 2004 Olympic Games first.
For the World Cup 2007 in Germany he signaled before the squad nomination readiness again to wear the national jersey - if " worst comes to worst is". First, he was also in the squad of 28 players comprehensive Heiner Brand. On 29 December, he was for the squad of 20 World Cup players but not nominated. He commented on the first two games of the first round as an expert for ZDF. After he confirmed directly after the game finally withdraw, he explained but still, that he believes it is possible to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and said: You have to wait and see if I still have the power. On June 11, nominated Heiner Brand Black for the Olympics, so he made his second comeback in the national team.
The travel agent took part with the German national handball team at six world and five European championships and four Olympic Games. During his six World Cup participations Black played a total of 51 games.
