Christian Schwegler
Christian Schwegler ( born June 6, 1984 in Ettiswil, Switzerland ) is a Swiss football player. Since 2009 he plays for the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
Club career
On the 05/ 06 season he moved from FC Luzern in the Swiss Challenge League to Arminia Bielefeld in the German Bundesliga. During winter break 2005/ 06 Schwegler moved back to Switzerland (BSC Young Boys). There he was the undisputed master players on the defensive flanks. Schwegler changed on 1 June 2009 for a transfer fee of 950,000 euros to the Austrian champions FC Red Bull Salzburg. In his first season he became a regular player with 35 inserts in the Bundesliga. In the autumn of 2010/11 season he was injured seriously ( torn tendon in his left thigh ) and stood the rest of the season no longer available.
