Christian v. Ditfurth

Christian v. Ditfurth (actually Wolf-Christian Ditfurth; born March 14, 1953 in Würzburg ) is a German writer. He is a trained historian and lives as a freelance author and lecturer in Berlin -Kreuzberg.

Life

As a journalist Ditfurth publications include articles in the mirror. Following the publication of a series of non-fiction books he appears in 1999 as a writer of detective novels and alternative world in appearance.

He comes from the noble Ditfurth. His father was a journalist, doctor, popular science television presenter and writer Hoimar of Ditfurth. His sister is the journalist and former Green Party politician Ditfurth.

From 1973 to 1983 he was a member of the DKP, and was occasionally trained at the branch office of the Franz- Mehring- Institute in Berlin- Biesdorf in the GDR. In January 1998, he joined the Social Democratic Party, of which he was only two years. Currently Ditfurth is no party.

His preference for rock music of the 1970s left behind in his books just as many tracks as his local patriotism. In his first Kreuzberg novel, Sleeping Beauty project all chapter titles are song titles by The Who. The importance of human rights in his belief documented among other things in becoming a member of Amnesty International.
