Christiane Marquardt

Christiane Marquardt ( born November 13, 1958 in Berlin ) is a German track and field athlete who - starting for the GDR - at the European Championships in 1978 the gold medal in the 4 x 400 - meter relay team won the GDR ( 3:21,2 min, along with Barbara Krug, Marita Koch and Christina Brehmer ). In the 400 -meter run this Championship was fifth ( 51.99 s ). In the same year she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.

Marquardt started for the TSC Berlin. In her playing days, she was 1.71 m tall and weighed 55 kg.
