Christiane Soeder ( born January 15, 1975 in Remscheid, Germany ) is an Austrian cyclist German origin.

Life

Christiane Soeder began her athletic career as an athlete who was successful in the Duathlon: 3 x German Champion (1999, 2000, 2001 ), 5th place World Championships in America (1999 ), 3rd place World Cup short track (2000 ) and on the long-range (2001 ). In 2001 she was Duathlon European silver medalist.

Since 2002 Soeder drove exclusively in cycling at Team Unica Graz and from 2005 to 2009 also the Univega Pro Cycling Team ( later name: Cervélo - Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team and Cervélo TestTeam ). She was one of the best time riders in the world and at the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart since her third place, the most successful Austrian cyclist. In 2009, she ended her athletic career.

Soeder is a doctor and lives in Vienna. In 2007, she published together with her sister Stefanie Mollenhauer ( sports medicine and Leistungsdiagnostikerin ) a reference book on women's cycling.
