Christie (Band)

Jeff Christie had begun his career with various bands, including at the Outer Limits. In 1968 he wrote the title of the Yellow River, and offered him the Tremeloes. This took the song too, but gave up a publication. Instead, founded Jeff Christie ado own band, which in addition to guitarist Vic Elmes and Mike Blakey, the brother of Tremeloes member Alan Blakey belonged, and released the song. It became a worldwide success. With San Bernadino they were able to follow directly on from the success. But even before the second album Blakey left the band. Despite several reshuffle of success did not come back, thus ending his band Christie Project 1976.
