Christina Heinich

Starting for the GDR - - Christina Heinich, married Schiffner ( born July 8, 1949 in Leipzig ) is a German track and field athlete who is at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay (42, 95 s, together Evelyn Kaufer, Bärbel Struppert and Renate Stecher ). In these Olympics, they also launched the 200-meter individual race and finished fifth ( 22.89 s ).

Again with the 4 x 100 - meter relay in the GDR in 1974 she won the European Championships ( 42.51 s, together with Bärbel Eckert, Doris and Renate Stecher Maletzki ).

At the European Championships in 1966 and 1971, she had no medals: In 1966 she retired in the 200 - meter race in the intermediate run and finished fifth with the 4 x 100 - meter relay ( 45.3 sec); In 1971 she was in the 200 -meter run eighth.
