Christina Hennings

Christina Hennings (* as Christina Gerking January 21, 1984 in Leer, Ostfriesland) was a successful rowing athlete, 2006, she became Vice World Champion with the women - Aft.

Christina Hennings grew up as the second born in a family in neutral Heisfelde on and only attended primary school in Heisfelde and then went to the Ubbo Emmius Gymnasium ( LEL) in Leer, where her father is a teacher. Her mother is also a teacher. She has an older sister and two younger brothers. The whole family is in rowing active, especially her mother was in the 1970s and 1980s successful in this sport. Christina Hennings began her career at the rowing club idle from 1903 eV 2011 she finished her career as a competitive athlete.
