Christine Ockrent

Christine Ockrent ( born April 24, 1944 in Brussels ) is a Belgian journalist working in France and television presenter.

Ockrent studied Political Sciences in Paris and Cambridge, was editor in chief of French TV evening news " 20 heures " on the channel France 2 and the "Journal télévisé " and chief editor of L' Express in Paris. From 1996, she was editor in chief of mission " Politique dimanche " on the channel France 3, and hosted the Europe program " France Europe Express". From February 2008 to May 2011 was the managing director of the state broadcaster with services abroad France 24, RFI and TV5 Monde, although their statutes this feature French nationals reserved.

Christine Ockrent is the life partner of Bernard Kouchner, the French foreign minister and was Minister for European Affairs on 18 May 2007 until 14 November 2010.
