Christo Steyn
Christo Steyn ( born May 1, 1961 in Springs ) is a former South African tennis player.
Life
Steyn was the 1983 semi-finalist at the NCAA Championships. In 1985 he was in the semifinals of Adelaide. His most successful year was 1986 when he won two ATP tournaments in doubles and stand four more times in a final, including at the Masters tournament in Cincinnati. The following year he was with Danie Visser in the finals of Philadelphia, but could not win a tournament victory further more. Its highest listing in the tennis world ranking he reached position 42 in the singles and in 1987 with position 23 in a double 1986.
His best individual result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the second round at the Australian Open 1985. 's Doubles competition he stood each in the second round of Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
