Christoph Bechmann

Christoph Bechmann ( born November 23, 1971 in Speyer ) is a German former hockey international, who won among other bronze at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the World Champion Cup 2006 fetched.

The player of the Club an der Alster (Hamburg), which is nicknamed Duffi or Bechi, was the captain of the German national team and a member of the Team of the Year 2005. He has worked as a trainer in Hamburg. As announced in April 2008, Bechmann changed on 1 August as a coach to Rot-Weiss Köln. Meanwhile he trained again in Hamburg - the men's team of Harvestehuder tennis and hockey clubs ( HTHC ) and the first ladies of the Hamburger Polo Club (Polo Ladies). With the Lords of HTHC he became German champion in 2013 indoor hockey in the spring.
