Christoph Heemann
Deer not on the sofa (in short: HNAS ) was an avant-garde band from 1983 to 1993 published a series of surrealist and Dadaist recordings. Achim P. Li Khan were members and Christoph Heeman. Because of their experimentation and their energy the band is often compared to Nurse With Wound. Characteristic of HNAS is a bizarre sense of humor, particularly evident in the names of tracks and albums reflected ( steam from a Discodüse, mother of art, I understand a shit, Peter Kam From Berchtesgaden, tons of heavy In Evening Dress, Good lord! The urge Reinforced yourself etc.). HNAS published under its own label Dom, the later by the sub-labels Elchklang Dom, Dom Dom beard and America (the latter led by friend of the band Jon Carlson ) has been extended.
1993, parted ways Heemann and P. Li Khan, who projects as Brigitte And The Hansen Experience, facial hair, Korea Soundblaster, Dieter Bauknecht and Rowenta / Khan ( with Frank Rowenta ) turned to. Heemann produced solo and with groups Mimir ( with Jim O'Rourke, Andreas Martin and Edward Ka - Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots ), Mirror ( with Andrew Chalk ) and In Camera ( with Timo Van Luijk ) numerous records and was especially also known by its production activity for artists such as Charlemagne Palestine, Tony Conrad, Keiji Haino, Limpe Fuchs and involvement in Nurse With Wound and Current 93. The label was in Dom Dom Elchklang ( Khan ) and the Dom beard growth continued leading label Streamline ( Heemann ) divided.
