Christoph Sahner

Christoph Sahner ( born September 23, 1963 in Illingen (Saar) ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympian, who competed for the Federal Republic. At a height of 1.80 m his competition weight was 98 kg.

Sahner won in 1981 at the European Junior Championships gold in the hammer throw. In 1985 and 1986 he was German champion. In 1985, he presented with 81,56 m on a German record. His personal best from 1988 is 81.78 m.Heute he is country manager of the Saarland in the hammer throw.

Successes in detail

At the Olympic Games in 1984, although Sahner qualified for the final, had there, but no valid attempt. 1988 failed Sahner in qualifying.
