Christoph Teinert

Christoph Teinert ( born January 30, 1980 in Heidelberg ) is a German footballer who also has an Australian passport.

Teinert began his football career with TSV Rheinhausen and then played in the youth teams of SV 98 Schwetzingen and VfR Mannheim and the senior team of VfB glues and TSG Hoffenheim. When TSG 1899 Hoffenheim striker scored in the two years in the Regionalliga Süd 21 goals. In 2003, he transferred to 1 FSV Mainz 05, but with whom he remained in the shadow of players like Michael Thurk and Benjamin Auer. Therefore, he was loaned in 2005 for two years at the SpVgg Unterhaching, in which his contract was extended with the Mainz until 2008. During the winter break of 2006/ 07 he moved to FC Augsburg. For the season 2007/ 08 he went to the third division Wacker Burghausen. In the 2008 /09 season Teinert played VfR basking in the third league. After the VfR was relegated at the end of the season in the fourth-rate Regionalliga Süd, his contract was invalid. Teinert has since been without a club.

His greatest successes were the promotion to the Regionalliga in 2001 with the TSG Hoffenheim and the promotion to the Bundesliga in 2004 with the first FSV Mainz 05 He scored in ten games in the Bundesliga and a goal in 79 games in the 2 Bundesliga with 13 goals.
