Christophe Béchu

Christophe Béchu ( born June 11, 1974 in Angers, Maine -et -Loire ) is a French politician of the Union pour un mouvement populaire.

Life

Béchu studied law at the Institut d' études politiques de Paris in Paris and since 2004 President of the General Council of the department of Maine -et -Loire. In 2009 he was elected as a deputy in the European Parliament, where he served until 2011. Since October 2011 he has been Senator for Maine -et -Loire in the Senate. Béchu is married and has three children.
