Christophe Laurent

Christophe Laurent ( born July 26, 1977 in Mende ) is a French cyclist.

Christophe Laurent started his professional career in 2002 with the French cycling team Jean Delatour. In his first year, he finished second on a stage of the Tour de l' Avenir and won the mountains classification. In 2004 he first took part in the Tour de France and finished it on the 134th place overall. Since 2005, Laurent goes for the French Professional Continental team Agritubel. At Paris-Nice 2006, he went three days in the mountains jersey and finished in the overall mountain classification second behind David Moncoutié, which declined him the jersey on the last day.

After the 2010 season, Laurent decided to end his career as a cyclist.
