Christophe Mengin

Christophe Mengin ( born September 3, 1968 in Cornimont ) is a former French cyclist.

Mengin in 1994 at the age of 25 years at the very last professional and also drove the first three years only in smaller teams. In 1997 he then moved to La Française des Jeux, where he still continues today. In his first year with his new team, he won a stage of the Three Days of De Panne and was successful at the 16th stage of the 1997 Tour de France from Morzine to Fribourg in Switzerland. Other successes of the French were victories in GP Ouest France- Plouay, Grand Prix Cholet - Pays de la Loire and a stage of the Castilla y Leon. In the 2005 Tour de France he fell on the 6th stage in Nancy as the leader on the final turn 400 meters from the finish and had to give up two days later. After the end of the 2008 season Mengin has ended his career.
