Christophe Pognon

Christophe Pognon (born 11 October 1977 in Cotonou ) is a Beninese tennis player.

Career

Pognon could never prevail on a higher professional level such as the ATP Challenger Tour. Also for Grand Slam tournaments he had never qualified.

He took the basis of a tripartite invitation in 2000 at the Olympic Games in Sydney in part. In the first round of the individual competition he was officially introduced to the Brazilian Gustavo Kuerten, he was clearly inferior with 1:6, 1:6.

Pognon denied 1994-2011 a total of 37 meetings for Benin's Davis Cup team. He holds the national record with 18 wins for most wins in Davis Cup singles.
