Christopher Dibon

Christopher Dibon ( born November 11, 1990 in Schwechat) is an Austrian football player. He was team captain at FC Admira Wacker Mödling. He currently stands at FC Red Bull Salzburg under contract.

Club career

After Dibon began playing in the offspring of the SV Schwechat football, he was thanks to his talent in the summer of 2002, committed by FC Admira Wacker Mödling for the power center of Southtown. In the fall of 2007 he was promoted to regular player of the first team of the association and achieved in spite of his position as a central defender in 14 games two goals. In the winter of 2008, he moved under the cooperation with the ASK Schwadorf in the First League ( second highest division), where he was able to win a regular place at first. Since the merger between the ASK Schwadorf and FC Admira Wacker Mödling he returned to his tribe Club. In the season 2010/11 he managed with the Admiralty promotion to the tipp3 Bundesliga. Also in the top division, he was captain and defensive leader of the team, but due to a broken leg calf in February 2012 he had to prematurely end the season.

With the end of the season 2011/12 the central defender switches to FC Red Bull Salzburg, where he signed a long-term contract. After only six inserts at the cops, he joined in the summer of 2013 on loan to the Austrian record champions SK Rapid Wien.

National

The defender is a regular player and captain of the Under-21 team in Austria.

On June 3, Christopher Dibon was convened by team director Dietmar Constantini for the first time in the squad of the Austrian national team. Making its debut in a friendly against Latvia on June 7, 2011, he scored the equalizer with a header to 1:1. The game ended 3-1 for Austria.
