Christopher Smith (director)

Christopher Smith (born 1970 in Bristol, England ) is a British film director and screenwriter.

In 2004, he directed the horror film Creep his first feature film for which he wrote the screenplay. Earlier, in 1997 and 1998 made ​​a short film. In 2006, he turned with Severance his second film in the horror genre, this time peppered with black humor. For this he was awarded 2007 on the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival with the Audience Award in the category of Best Film.

In 2009, he staged Triangle - The fear comes in waves, a film drama and mystery thriller. The following year he returned with Black Death in the horror genre, the plot of the film set in the Middle Ages. At this production, he was not involved for the first time at the same time as a screenwriter.
