Christopher Young
Christopher Young ( born April 28, 1957 in Red Bank, New Jersey) is an American composer of film scores.
Life
He received the Massachusetts Hampshire College Bachelor's degree in Music and continued his studies at North Texas State University on, before moving to Los Angeles in 1980. There he worked as a jazz drummer, but soon re- oriented and attended UCLA Film School under the film music composer David Raksin.
Since 1982, Christopher Young has worked as a composer for film music and to date has composed film scores for over 80 feature films.
For his work on Hellraiser 2: Hellbound 1990 he won a Saturn Award. For the films Entrapment, Swordfish and The Grudge - The curse he won a BMI film music award ever.
