Chronoswiss

Chronoswiss is a Swiss watchmaker based in Lucerne, which was founded in 1981 by Gerd- Rüdiger Lang in Munich and since 1983 produces as Chronoswiss watches manufacturing watches.

History

In the early days of Chronoswiss were remainders of mechanical movements, which were no longer manufactured, shuttered and sold in housing. The current collection consists of high-quality mechanical watches and also includes limited editions with special calibers. Characteristic of the watches include the onion crown, the knurled bezel and screw-down strap webs. Early 2012, sold its shares in the Chronoswiss Uhren GmbH to the Swiss entrepreneur family Oliver and Eva Maria Ebstein, based in Lucerne on Lake Lucerne, sold the previous owner Lang family. Meanwhile, the company moved to Lucerne.

In August 2013 Chronoswiss announced that the site Karl field should be completely abandoned.
